This USCG Approved one-day course encompasses adult one-person CPR and basic first aid practices and meets the requirements for an Original Application for a USCG License. Course Topics:

  • Clearing and Protecting the Airway
  • Ventilations/Rescue Breathing

  • Control of Bleeding
  • Managing Shock
  • Ongoing Assessment

  • Classes are held in Hyannis and Marina Bay Quincy, MA.
  • Off site classes are available to groups of twelve or more students.
  • Certificates are valid for TWO YEARS.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits are refundable if written cancellation is received more than 14 days prior to course start date, less an administration fee of $50 and the cost of books. Cancellations made 14 days or less from the course date will forfeit deposit. A student requesting a move to a future class will be assessed a $50 fee and cancellation policy will remain in effect as of original class date. A full refund if class size minimum is not met.

Testing for FCC Licenses is offered during regular business hours by appointment.

USCG Renewal Paperwork Assistance

New England Maritime offers assistance, for a fee, in USCG License renewal paperwork. We will supply you with the forms, assist you in completing your sea service forms, and check the paperwork package in its entirety prior to submitting to the USCG REC.
